Last night we attended the FACE/BOX art exhibition at 55DSL, Boxpark. The exhibition was full of beautiful, interesting pieces of art work which were all displayed so intricately. Music were provided by DJ’s associated with CM Sounds; Henry SoundSpecies, Cal of Mammoth Sounds, Thomas ‘Tightface’ James and Ben Tilley as well as others.

The celebrations continued at the after party which was held at Shoreditch House where CM Sounds continued to spin while others enjoyed drinks, platters and cool company.

We had the privilege to speak to the curator of exhibition, Monique Todd. At just 19 years of age, she curated the whole exhibition and after party, runs weareadverts and is also the online editor of Live Magazine! We had such a great night and it was amazing seeing great young talent.

Artists who’s work were featured included Sarah Thomas Will Ritson Ki Yoong Alicia Gradon Joy La-Jaxx Mr Phomer Stewart Chromik, Joao Retora Ish Sahotay and Jack Whitelocke

Hi, I am Sheheryar Ahmed, 17 and live in London; I am working at Canvas Communications London as an intern, in hope of gaining some work experience in the media district.

In light of the upcoming Olympics, I have decided to enter a post on this blog. As I write this, the London 2012 Olympics draw ever closer, and this has had an impact on all of us who not only live in London, but elsewhere in Britain too. An industry that the Olympics has also in a way effected, is the music industry.

The Olympics are getting ready for a massive concert with a line up just as big as the games. This event will be held at Hyde Park and will be free for any one to attend, this would be one of many of the concerts held for the Olympics, and would be a follow up to the ‘BT London Live’ opening concert. The Hyde Park event will have massive screens showing footage of the sports that are occurring during the time of the concert.

The line-up includes names such as Sir Tom Jones, Duran Duran and the likes of the popular Katie B, and also Eliza Doolittle. The line-up also features various artists and bands representing all of Great Britain’s nations, firstly Snow Patrol will be representing Northern Ireland, Stereophonics representing their home nation of Wales and finally, Paolo Nutini who will play for Scotland. The event will be headlined by Blur. There are yet many artists set to be announced.

This free concert is on the 12th of August and is one to look forward to, regardless of your taste in music. This is a once in a lifetime event music lovers, make sure you are there…I know I will be.

As part of work experience, I have decided to have an internship at the CANVAS communications London. My name is Bushra Ahmed; I am 15 and live in London. I am highly interested in fashion, and writing this blog to inform the trendy, latest and chic summer style.

A rainbow of pastel shades including; parrot green, summery yellow, candy-floss pink or even pale blue jeans to suit your ideal summer look has hit the high street. So what are you waiting for? Get ready to glam this summer and impress everyone with a colour of your choice.

These jeans are perfect for making a style statement and extremely comfy! (I wont be surprised if everyone remains dazzled)-

Confused? Yes it’s tricky to find the perfect idyllic look especially when you are always willing to look modelesque, however the fashion blogger is here to help you choose a flawless summer look!

Going for the midnight blue pick? – I would advice you to wear it with ivory chiffon ruffle top, and glittery golden bangles to enhance the look.

Shocking pink jeans? – I recommend an elegant black sophisticated top, perhaps tucked in your lively jeans.

Emerald look? I highly believe a turquoise blue bow top or a Champaign silky top to give a new hip look. (Totally my style!)

Ready for the last advice? – Carroty orange jeans with any warm colour top! As well as the colour clashes; the jean will particularly stand out giving you the model- material look!

In order to gain experience, I am completing an internship at Canvas Communications London.  My name is Mahnoor Ahmed; I am 15 years old, and live in London. I am extremely interested in fashion and general health care and am writing this blog to share my ideas on how to care for your hair.

Does greasy, oily, Scruffy hair sound familiar? Below is the solution to all three of these frustrating qualities, which will leave you with hair entirely smooth, sleek and summer ready.

Are you the type of person who has to wrestle with their hair every morning, just to get it to stay put? – I recommend the Aussie mousse & leave in conditioner. Massaging just a tiny amount into your hair in the morning, after you get out of the shower helps to detangle and hydrate your hair quickly. This product leaves your hair soft, lively and gives it additional volume – perfect for using just before a night out.

Is frizzy hair your frustration? – The Triple Moisture from Neutrogena is an anti-frizz cream that will leave your hair looking better than ever! Applying a thin layer of this cream daily, helps to looking natural – just as it should be – and leaves it smelling great too!

Lastly, the problem that drives everybody crazy is greasy, sticky, oily hair – Its finally time to stand up to those small irritating oily pores with the deep cleaning shampoo from Tresemmé. This revitalizes hair, removing any dirt from your roots leaving you with a long-term dirt-free shine.

Follow these three easy tips and say goodbye to hair problems!
