The Fcancer Project Fantasy Ball

Happy Friday all! This week has been a great week for us. I have been working very closely with The Fcancer Project who had their inauguration event on Saturday 28th April. The Fcancer Project is an organisation very close to my heart and extremely inspiring. Each member of the Fcancer team have had a parent affected by Cancer. They decided to put their skills together to form a collaborative initiative for young people to join the fight against Cancer. “Through a dedicated social network,…

‘Coco Avant Chanel’ – A Review

Abandoned by her father after her mother dies, this film is the story of Gabrielle Chanel, before she became the infamous Chanel. Starting rough, Gabrielle was made to sing in gentlemen’s clubs, helping to support her sister Adrienne as a double act. I decided to watch it with an open mind, although I was worried I was going to be watching a typical “fast cars” film. The type where the lead character sleeps around, drinks a lot, has some underlying issues and drives cars- I was so wrong! Ryan Gosling plays the lead male- a mechanic and stunt driver in the day and a get-away driver in the night. Without telling you the whole plot, the film sees Ryan using…
